Swaaha Resource Management Private Limited (Swaaha) is a startup founded by alumni of Indian Institute of Technology Indore and recognised by the Government of India. Inspired by the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Swaaha offers it’s unique, indigenously designed and developed Solid Waste Management Technology Solutions and Services to various Urban Local Bodies, Government Institutions and Private Organisations.
Swaaha was incorporated on 29th Jun'16. In a short span of just around 4 years, Swaaha has its footprints spread across cities like Indore, Ujjain, Bhopal, Pune, Goa and Coimbatore. Swaaha is proud to be associated with some of the premier central and state government organisations, educational institutions and private corporate houses. Swaaha is one of the first startups incubated at the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at IIT Indore.
Swaaha is a recognised startup under the Startup India Programme run by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Finance, Government of India. Swaaha also holds a Golden Book of World Record for the "Largest Quantity of Organic Waste From an Event Processed into Compost At Site". Swaaha is also the awardee for the “Best Startup – Dr. Shirin Gadhia Sustainability Award, 2019” and "Best Startup Initiative by Global Smart Cities Forum, 2020" by ET Government. Swaaha’s solutions include 360° Turnkey Technology Solutions for Municipal Solid Waste Management with Smart Drum Composter, Smart Mobile Waste Processing Van, Bio-Methanation Plant and Material Recovery Facility. These solutions along with Swaaha’s Flagship Solutions like "Zero Waste Campus", "Zero Waste Events", Operation & Maintenance Services and Smart Data Analytics for Waste Management make a complete eco-system for an integrated solid waste management for smart, sustainable cities of future.
